Over the past few weeks I have had to take off from my practice to try and mend my own back issues. This stems from 11 years of compensating for muscular weakness and imbalance after the stroke I suffered April 20th, 2007.
The past year although, seemed to have an up and down affect on my ability to keep pain under control, it was gradually getting in the way of practicing. I ended up going for an evaluation and subsequent treatment that helped for the pain but decompensated the muscles around my pelvis causing me more pain and the inability to stand over the treatment table without exacerbating the pain.
It is with great sadness I tell you that I will not be able to practice at this time, until I can heal sufficiently,to get back to practice and resume my passion of treating and caring for your spinal and health needs.
For those of you in need of urgent or continued care,we have several Chiropractors ready and willing to attend to your needs. If you choose to go to someone of your choosing, please let Ruth know where we can send your records.
Please believe me when I say this is not an easy decision and my heart is heavy thinking how much I miss you already.
Please pray I have a quick recovery and come back attending to you all who I have come to Love and call my Friend.
I really don't know at this time what the future will bring and if my office will be able to stay open without a practicing Chiropractor to cover the office, so please pray about that.
With warmest regards
Richard Wecker, D.C.
